Neither has any country established a true free market, as Right-Libertarians are so fond of telling us. That hasn’t stopped them from idealizing the ‘magic of the market place’.

You seem to be a well educated person, so you should realize that the meanings of words and terms change. Democratic Socialism doesn’t mean the same thing now that it did 40 years ago.
