I have mixed feelings about this. Before the prevalence of the internet, a game was a game was a game, and the limitations of budget and scheduling ensured that what was released is what the player gets. Now, we’re seeing the potential for companies to flex beyond what their budget accounted for, and it honestly

Jesus Christ, I’d certainly hope so.

Make Shuri queen and shift Okoye as Black Panther to a position as her invisible hand. Emphasize the sort of international action and espionage of that Hong Kong scene with clever statecraft.

Or just retire the series, but I don’t know. Black Panther means a lot to a lot of people, even if it is a mass corporate owned

At this point, at lest it’s not wingdings.

I would too, and it’s the kind of thing that makes me hate console exclusives. But the overlap between Sony and MS consoles is so minimal that I’d need to really have a lot of disposable income to justify buying both consoles for the sake of a handful of exclusives.

I wonder what a future that doesn’t have competing

Katamari has definitely been therapy for me, but more recently it’s been Into the Breach - and before that, the studio’s other game Faster Than Light. The inherent simplicity of the puzzle-strategy design makes it accessible, and the certainty that comes from every action makes me rarely feel frustrated when something

oh

Yeah. They’re exactly the two I was expecting to bow out.

This certainly is a hill you can choose to die on, I guess.

And, I mean, when you were playing as Catwoman, all of the enemy taunts were just dudes constantly threatening to rape you. Then there’s Harley, who was treated essentially as the butt of everyone’s jokes.

I’m not in the least surprised to hear this news.

Unions in Georgia are completely impotent. The Republicans defanged any teeth they had long ago.

I will die for the virtue of the “Ki ki ki ah ah ah” argument.

We hoist up imperfect people who, by virtue of circumstances, become symbolic sacrifices to the sins of our nation.

Seems fair to me.

Considering that “Invoke Prejudice” was made by a legit neo-nazi, I find that argument weak. WoC may have not intended to hire an actual neo-nazi, but they haven’t done a damn thing about it despite it being open knowledge for a long time.

It’s not uncommon in comics either. While the “replacement heroes” gimmick has become trope at this point, and it’s often not creatively successful, it can work - especially if you just recognize that it’s not permanent and recognize it as a story with a beginning and an end.

If the big issue was working hours, and

Just buy the rights to Spike TV.

I’d guess licensing issues might have something to do with it. Aren’t quite a bit of the properties represented not owned by WB? I’d expect license owners would want a bigger cut if their characters are a centerpiece of the license, and/or WB might be worried about launching a property they don’t outright own. There

Exactly. Then you have Seven Psychopaths and The Lobster. I guess my question is, has Colin Farrell made a move towards quirkier movies because he can’t score leading man status, or does he just prefer more eccentric projects?

They once saw female comics creators and editors drinking milkshakes and lost their mind.

Really, the point of contention for them is that they think Marvel is erasing their favorite white male characters to replace them with women and minorities. So, yeah, same premise as Gamergate, but they don’t even have the

One of the things that stuck out to me about Jason's expose on Anthem was how much of the fuckups were predicated on trying to get an E3 demo out the door. I think E3 disappearing would definitely be a positive.
