It strikes me as worryingly similar to the notion that creatives should work for exposure: that essentially giving away games for free will build a loyal fanbase willing to pay more on future projects, but I really don't think most gamers pay that much attention to who develops their games.

Gen Xers are KILLING the TV industry!!

I love how out of all the innovative, hilarious, and subversive sketch comedy shows of the past few decades, he picked MadTV. Really tells you a lot huh?

“I'm pretty left" says the guy who always posts horribly far right comments.

the latter, without a doubt. See, trying to deny women reproductive health care actually hurts other people.

I’m sure if you asked the unborn’s opinion, they wouldn’t say a goddamn thing. Because they aren’t a living, thinking thing.

It’s the pagemaster, right?

I mostly agree with you, but I think there's also a tricky racial/socio-economic issue here. As long as the bail system is used exclusively against the poor and people of color, it's unlikely to change.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg. This dude is like a living 4chan comment factory.

Ceciliais our generation's Marcel Proust.

Fuck it. Let’s just go all in and nominate Mitt Romney.

Oh my god, I was so fascinated by how pretentious and posturing and vapid that article was that I looked into the guy who wrote it. He was the most prominent guy the rabid puppies jammed into the Hugo Awards a few years ago, and of course he wears a fedora. Here’s how he feels about women:

I don’t trust the opinion of anyone who made it through the first page of that multi-page examination. The fanboy who wrote that is insufferable.

It’s almost like the qualities that make someone a popular streamer are the same qualities that make them shitty racist fucks.

I feel like they missed their opportunity. If someone came along in 1992 and was like “This Spawn guy should have acomic book and then maybe it could be expanded into an animated HBO series with Keith David”, that might have worked.

Thank you for sharing this A.A. This was a remarkably well written piece, and I’m sure it wasn’t easy bringing up these issues, much less framing them so elegantly.

Moore is clearly the better filmmaker though. He has an ego that gets in the way of some legitimately sound instincts and cutting ideology. Spurlock drops all that for the ego.

You can't fool me, Channing.

Yeah. I think that’s an important thing to bring up. The only thing Uber is producing now that will help them with the autonomous model, is their audience, and they’re losing money constantly just for the sake of building that customer base.

Is that a better position to be in than a hungry startup that was built

Why are you posting pictures of Gary Oldman as Dracula?
