I recently flew on British Airways and while I didn’t get bumped from first or business to economy, I was downgraded to a regular economy seat despite paying for economy plus due to them changing the plane.

I’m in my 30s thank you very much lol.
What about a woman in her 30s like me? Saying something is uncool because a certain demographic wants it seems pretty silly.
Nope sorry, with the C7 that narrative started to change. Sure a lot of Corvettes are still purchased by older people (it’s a 60k+ 2 seater, not a lot of younger folks can or will plop down that amount of change for a 2 seater spots car), but I’ve seen so many younger people getting into Corvettes (including myself)…
The name Pinto is still horse-related (joking). Anyway, I think you overestimate how many people will zero in on the name (at least the ones who might actually buy the thing). People on this site forget that their opinions are a very small minority of the car buying public. Yes I am familiar with the history of the…
There is always something better on the horizon. If you always wait for the next best thing you’d never buy anything.
And that is why taste is subjective, because I happen to agree with him. You are definitely a glass half empty type concerning the rest of your comment lol.
This is my exact thought process only it does tick all the boxes for me. I admit to an eye roll initially when first seeing the screen but it’s grown on me quite a bit. I’m am so ready for this to come out and I’m hoping that by giving it the Mustang name, they are indicating that they are very serious about making…
Many of us care more about what the vehicle actually does and offers, not so much about what they name it. I guess I’m not a true enthusiast because I really don’t see a point in having a hissy about a car’s name, where the engine is located (targeted at die hard Corvette people), etc. I like what Ford has done here,…
Thunderbird would have been cool for sure. I will say that in my mind, calling it a Mustang makes it seem like they are serious and will really try to make this succeed vs just throwing something out there to meet compliance standards.
I made a reservation. Never owned a Ford or even remotely wanted to previously. Never had an interest in Mustangs, so I don’t care about the name either. I was looking into going electric but nothing met my checklist (range, price, cargo space, looks) until this showed up. I know the Model Y is coming at the same time…
Okra should only be eaten fried, unless you have someone who knows how to properly cook the slime out of it, then it’s acceptable as a filler veggie.
I should have read your response post first because I was like “tomatoes in gumbo, uh no?!” I agree on the roux as well. There is no one set recipe/method for making gumbo so anyone applying hard and fast rules automatically loses credibility with me.
“Everyone puts tomatoes in their gumbo...” uh no not everyone lol. Gumbos can be incredibly varied. I’m creole and there are no tomatoes or okra going in our gumbo pot although my mom has talked about wanting to try a pot with okra, which is far more common but never ever tomatoes.
After looking at this article I’m pretty intrigued. The only thing turning me off a bit is dat ass, but the side profile and interior are nice. The front is ok I guess. I might actually be really interested in this thing.
I didn’t mind the front, but ugh, dat ass...
I don’t mind the front, but I am not a fan of dat ass...
Yup, woman here as well. Despite the fact that I’m 5'8" even guys smaller than me seem to think that they should be able to encroach on my leg space, especially on the bus when I commute to work. I also use leg touching as a first attempt to get my space back.
My rage inducing incident was this: I was in an aisle seat next to a small guy and his small wife. I completely understand if you have to accidentally touch folks because the seats are small and people don’t always fit nicely into the seats, but I had crossed my arms so as to not take up a middle arm rest and was…
This. I hope that the person in front of me is nice enough to not recline their seat all the way (reclining a bit is no biggie) but I accept the fact that they have the ability/right to do so. Personally I like to recline mine just a tiny bit so that I’m not completely upright because that helps my back.
