Well i got my Forester because i know prices suck, but i also still have my CJ7, because sometimes its fun to revel in how far we have come and how basic it is.
Maybe its a different now. We have the largest cargo airport in the US. If it ships international, it probably goes through anchorage. That includes the military. Most of their traffic to the middle east comes through Anchorage.
You forgot Anchorage Alaska. Largest air base and army base on the west coast
i always thought that part of the Seward highway between anchorage and gird wood would be really fun at high speeds and no other cars.

Thats kind of Naive. In alaska where i Live The feds own 61% of all lands(220+ million acres) and the rest is State parks that cannot be developed because of Federal regulations. Les than 1% of our state is actually usable. This would benefit our state enormously. Its not like people can legally strip mine even on…
I live in Alaska and this would actually be nice. Do you know how many permits it takes to run a new phone/fiber line anywhere in this state? Our parks are bigger than most states. Being able to have a little industrialization(in moderation) would be amazing for us and make it so we don't have to suck up to Big Oil…
She was an OK mayor and was only elected Governor because the other choices were far worse. We hate the crap we get for all of the reality shows that portray us as a bunch of classless rednecks and hicks.
