unfortunately, not just them. It seems to be a thing these days. I like to watch Daily Show and Colbert reruns, they start at randomly stupid times like 6:58 (or 6:57, or whatever, not consistent). A PITA to be sure.

Yeah. I actually have the 45 RPM version of American Pie, it fades away on Side A and then Side B it just goes into the next verse. The song was too long to fit on one side of a 45 and thus too long for AM. (not technically too long of course, but AM radio just didn't play long songs)
