Tesla might not either
Tesla might not either
The NSX will be here, Alfa will make their return to the US, and we’ll see a mid-engined Corvette before Tesla makes an “entry-level” car
Makes perfect sense, honestly. Release the new models while the hype for your new brand is strong (highly doubt it was a “last minute decision” though)
“some kind of SUV”
If this was Old Cadillac (the AARP variety, not to be confused with the mobster Cadillac era) it would absolutely be some shitty plastic veneer or sticker. Today, though?
Is that an Altima up there? No big loss
Obviously it was Some Puerto Rican Guy
That’s what I used to think about the Germans - but now you have Mercedes sticking with long-used names that have nothing to do with actual engine size, and of course BMW and their weird coupe sedans
People aspire to own an Escalade. How is that a negative?
It was a good idea initially, because it hearkened back to the Mk. # naming for the Continentals (Mk. III, Mk. VII, etc.) but now it’s just too much. I can literally never remember which of Lincoln’s current models is which.
N64 is an alphanumeric I can get behind.
Except the system before the new one (CT, XT) was alphanumeric too. The CTS, DTS, XTS, STS, etc. They just switched bad alphanumerics for worse ones. And I’d disagree about buyers buying the models instead of the brand (this may be true for people who own the entry level models) - an Escalade driver will tell you they…
I refuse to believe than any actual buyers have said they want this. It HAS to be a case of “monkey see, monkey do.” “BMW and Mercedes use a jumble of letters and numbers and they do great, so we must too!”
Back in high school I once saw a Ferrari 360 in the ghetto (Springfield, MA if anyone is wondering). Oh and I saw a 458 in one of the “transitional” neighborhoods in D.C. (One of those areas where the townhouses are now half a mil, but there’s still the occassional shooting)
They also once awarded a $466,000 grant to fund a study to find out why fat girls had trouble dating. I shit you not.
Given how BBC disdained its American audience of Top Gear, I’m not worried about having to pay for Prime to watch this
Can’t help but wonder if VW group mocked up a 918-esque rear end to cover up the real appearance
Opens list. Sees plastic child’s toy as #9. Closes List.
I would like this but with the Tundra’s V8, please
