I am tired of being accused of teaching religion when I teach evolution. It is just a part of Biology that is well documented science. I have even had Chemistry and Physics teachers accuse me of promoting the “religion of evolution.”
I am an atheist and I agree. I’ve read one of those evolution books to my son, and while it’s a great resource, it is dangerous to continue talking about science and religion as if they are related.

For F%*KS SAKE GET EVOLUTION OFF THAT LIST, It is a natural process that science has been able to document and explain. IT IS NOT A RELIGION AND SHOULD NOT BE LISTED AS ONE.
For better or worse, after many discussions my 7 year old second grader now equates all religion to mythology. I explained that mythologies are dead religions that are no longer widely practiced.
