Can we talk about the fact that the move Arya uses to kill the Night King is the same one she uses in the previous season on Brienne in that awesome training scene?

On it, I purchased Les Halles a couple weeks ago with this intention. I guess I’m starting with French Onion Soup.
That movie is a treasure! Where else can you get Christian Bale and Gerard Butler acting out scenes from Star Wars, Matthew Mcconaughey jumping off a tower with an ax at a dragon, AND Natalya from GoldenEye piloting a helicopter that hunts the dragons by throwing suicidal skydivers with nets at them?
I’d love one of these histories for novels or short stories.
I’m about 2/3 of the way through Black Leopard, Red Wolf by Marlon James. It’s a difficult read for the first 1/3 until you get used to the language and narration style. But once it clicks, its a really great story. Really immersive world that is helped by the difference in language and storytelling style.
I read Lovecraft County and deeply enjoyed it. I definitely wish the initial summary on the back was the whole book though. I liked that first story or two the best. It’s pretty cool that HBO is adapting it.
Can we get a “Make a Wish” sorta thing for this guy, like when Marvel lets dying people see whatever new Avengers movie is happening?
as “spiritual remake” of the 1992 film by Bernard Rose.
We’ll make the aliens pay for it.
Seriously. I rolled my eyes as hard as I could when I read that. “Kicking his ass.” GTFO.
Raising kids is just a constant trial and error and a ton of experimentation. What helped your 2.1 year old sleep won’t work for their 2.5 sleep regression. Try new things and don’t freak out. Every time my toddler suddenly won’t sleep through the night it feels like its lasting a life time, but its really only a…
Using a realtor, I bought a foreclosure in 2011. I looked for a house in bad condition but with a lot of equity (read: big yard, large square footage, usable basement/attic). Over 5 years, I treated home renovations as my hobby, spent a lot of money and sweat (and only rarely a contractor) to do a ton of work. Then, I…
I’ve run a D&D group off and on for years at the high school I work at. The kids are great, sessions are fun, we’ve had enough kids to warrant having students DM groups (including where I’ve played on only helped the DM occasionally).
ALL OF THE STARS!
I’m also a coach in Minneapolis. I coach a soccer team in a city with a very large Somali population, thus, my team has a very large Somali population. I have several of these rural teams I WILL NOT schedule games with anymore because of “Go Back to Africa” screams from the opposing fans and other vile racism I won’t…
Sous vide those shrimp with the shell off. I can’t stand giving guests shrimp as an appetizer if they have to peel them. Especially if its buffet style.
Damn it. Daredevil has been my favorite comic since I was a little kid and I liked the first and third seasons and didn’t mind the second. I wanted a fourth.
This whole debacle just makes me sad. I grew up with Fallout 2. It was probably the first video game I truly sunk many hours into. I played other games on console and had fun, but F2 really had me. Then I found a copy of F1, did that and proceeded to wait forever for Fallout 3. Loved it, loved New Vegas, but something…
Fantastic piece. I look forward to watching the world championship every year but I felt relatively unprepared on Caruana. Thanks, now I’m ready.
Screamin Jay Hawkins, or get out.
