Can we talk about the fact that the move Arya uses to kill the Night King is the same one she uses in the previous season on Brienne in that awesome training scene?

That movie is a treasure! Where else can you get Christian Bale and Gerard Butler acting out scenes from Star Wars, Matthew Mcconaughey jumping off a tower with an ax at a dragon, AND Natalya from GoldenEye piloting a helicopter that hunts the dragons by throwing suicidal skydivers with nets at them?

I’d love one of these histories for novels or short stories.

I’m about 2/3 of the way through Black Leopard, Red Wolf by Marlon James. It’s a difficult read for the first 1/3 until you get used to the language and narration style. But once it clicks, its a really great story. Really immersive world that is helped by the difference in language and storytelling style.

I read Lovecraft County and deeply enjoyed it. I definitely wish the initial summary on the back was the whole book though. I liked that first story or two the best. It’s pretty cool that HBO is adapting it.
