Wow, what a slug! Of course, we're talking about a 2-ton boat here with stock bias-ply tires, rear drum brakes, base suspension, and a 2 bbl carb. Undoubtedly, this was the "gram-gram" version of this car.

@Venivedivice: I totally agree. Curvy wagons leave a lot to be desired. Go ahead, make the front curvy, keep the cargo area large and square. I could carry more crap in my Saab 9000 than I can in my V40 mini-wagon, and the newer ones seem to be getting even smaller.

For a company that starts off by announcing that they're killing the V70 for the US market, they're not off to a particularly good start.

It's 35 years old, and it's still a damn hot looking car. How many '75's can you honestly say that about? Not bad for $7k, either.

You did get the optional collision coverage, right?
