I have no problem with putting smaller engines into cars, as long as you don't have to pay an extra $4000 to get an engine with decent power.

@2stroke: Good only for overtaking other 1993 diesel Starlets, Fiat 500's, or the occasional 2CV.

So you put Hankook tires on what is supposedly the love of your life? I also don't like the "I am a professional mechanic and I've done everything is should need for the next 40k miles...and if you cross your fingers, it won't throw a rod in the next 5K. Well, you can find out whilst sweating to death, because the

Is that covered by triple-A?

@powermatic: Maybe the seller would have been better off leaving that out!

Turnabout is fair play. American youth try to make their cars look more Asian, and Asian youth try to make their cars more American.

That doesn't seem like an unreasonable price, although I couldn't really care less that it belonged to Denny Zager. If I wanted a celeb-mobile, I wouldn't want to keep having to explain who the hell it belonged to every single time.

I had a friend who had a neon-yellow one in his front yard for years (he never did get around to getting it running). Alas, although the body was indeed fiberglass, the chassis was not and it succumbed to the New England Rust-Monster.

And if you hadn't bought it, it probably would have spend the rest of it's life (the rest of the summer, most likely) cruising the streets of Allston-Brighton delivering Chinese food. It scores a perfect "10" for ugliness,

This is lame on multiple levels.

No fair, I was distracted by the flashlight.

Man, this is a totally ridiculous and stupid waste of time and money.

I'd like to put in a vote for any random driver from Eastern Mass/Southern NH, although I will have to defer to Chicago drivers as being much, much worse.

I'm pretty happy with my Volvo dash..analog speedo, analog tach, gas, coolant, then an LCD odometer and info-center. Nice and clean, simple and easy to read. Ditto with modern VW dashes (well, Golf/Rabbit and Jetta, anyway).

OJ was black, the Bronco was white. It was obviously a racial thing.
