Most multiplex goers don't bother remembering director's names anyway, except maybe the likes of Spielberg, Tarantino or Bay. I think that in the ever-growing geek or geek-inclined community (basically the target audience for Ant-Man), the average movie-goer has at least heard of Edgar Wright.
