My main problem with Scott Pilgrim is I didn't have the feeling Wright was that much invested in his characters, but instead focused on cool camera tricks and overall comic book feeling. It's a marvel of filmmaking, but that's about it…

I love Brave too. But I was seriously disturbed by it. The whole "your whole body is changing into a bear, you can't talk anymore and soon your mind will be replaced too", that's Cronenbergian shit right there. Brave made me a lot more uncomfortable than 90% of the horror movies I saw….
