As a recovering former Catholic, I find any movie involving making the Catholic church look cool to be a mixed bag. There is something inherently cool and badass about these devout warrior priest and priestess kicking ass with these magical holy scriptures against pure evil.

If everyone left Twitter, he would be on the hook for billions to his investors, which would force him to liquidate assets to pay off and take huge hits to his wealth. He would easily stop being the richest…

So, Twitter is dead, content creators are going to flee, Twitter will become a Q-anon haven, and basically just be another honeypot for the FBI to listen in, just like Parler.  Got it.

I completely agree. Again: “Why couldn’t this other person die instead, because I value them less” was the sort of thing edgy alt-comics would have said in the ‘80s, which carried over to mainstream comedy in the ‘90s.

Just go with Carrot Top or Joe Piscopo. In both cases there would only be one person who would object.

maybe when Simone Biles and Naomi Osaka dropped out of events and obligations to preserve their sanity it was actually an inflection point for others to do so, because this is a WAY healthier way to deal with stress than what SNL performers used to do, i.e. tons of coke, alcohol, pot, etc.

If you ever hear Conan O Brien (or even Bill Hader) talk about working on SNL, it sounds really brutal. Conan specifically has said repeatedly that he has a love hate relationship with it, as the work itself he’s very proud of and he had a lot of fun, but that he was constantly near panic and the pace of the show…
