Wow, I always thought the theatrical cut could have tied things together a little bit, and I was told the director’s cut did, which made me want to check it out someday. From the comments it seems like the director’s cut was a resounding improvement, which is disappointing.

Sure - the gift would be, as someone later replied, to give a gift certificate to a store that she could go to get fitted.

Bonus points if you have children and do it at a time when she might normally be expecting to be with them and allowing her a child-free afternoon with a friend.

“Who is Whitson” - that’s a joke...right? lol

Didn’t realize this was a cross-post when I saw this on Lifehacker, and was going to make a suggestion, but given the opportunity, I’ll say it anyway: As a man who loves his significant other very dearly, I certainly wouldn’t mind being included in an article that also informs men on this issue for their girlfriends

Makes sense. When I hit the snooze a few times, I always remember my dreams and can even continue dreams that I’ve just been woken up from. I wouldn’t call it “lucid” dreaming, as I don’t know it’s a dream when it’s happening, but I can recall them with great detail if I wake up and fall back asleep multiple times.

It’s just a promotional video for an event; doesn’t really seem to be meant to be neither comprehensive nor informative.

I actually know the main writer and director for Brave, Brenda Chapman, and before joining Pixar, she had previously been a writer/story developer for Disney movies, specifically: Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, while working on quite a few more, like the Little Mermaid. That

I didn’t see your post until I scrolled all the way down to find mine, but I second the Moccamaster. Nothing fancy, just quality, long-lasting parts and great coffee. +1, good sir.

Technivorm Moccamaster - at $300, it’s less than a half-year’s worth of Starbucks coffee, will last ages, and delivers a great cup of coffee that mimics a pour-over: consistent water temperature above 195° pulse brewing into a conical brew basket.
