- Tom Cruise *Academy Award Non-Winner

Back when I was a kid and actually believed the show and awards meant something.

i second shipping Love for Richie, with Patrick or without…though Patrick could certainly do better than that bloke he's stuck with in Rosemary's Baby's Renovated Condo.
I'll add Betty and Daniel on Ugly Betty…however what I loved about that relationship is that it didn't feel at all inevitable. Inevitable TV

Gentlemen Prefer Blondes is more 'Comedy' than 'Romantic'. Jane Russell's somewhat compelling romance seems a B-plot, and Marilyn's love interest is rarely seen. Maybe the true romance is a blonde and brunette finally getting along?

it's not that i want Casey Affleck to be unemployed, but i'm wondering if there might be ANY other vaguely cute, passably talented actors who would like jobs.

I actually enjoy 'Girls', but Elijah I can't get over. Andrew Rannels, who plays Elijah, is cool, but the fact that he's at least 10 years older than his character makes him feel anachronistic to me. Yes, Hannah I can forgive, Marni I love, but I pump the brakes at Elijah.

The Oscars are like Santa Claus. You think they're based on something real and inspiring, but then you grow up and realize it's mainly just a way to sell Coke.

maybe they're trying to say this is another reason why netflix and network tv shouldn't be compared. they're entirely different animals. one is a squirrel hoarding nuts, the other a fish flopping on the shore.

i think the "not-based on anything" compliment IS the explanation. Star Wars/Trek, Teen Lit & DC/Marvel movies all have long established cult followings, hence a great bunch of people already interested in buying the toys and icons, as well as tickets to the movie, to add to their shrines of fandom. Avatar's first

Jackson 5, there's nothing cuter than an actual child singing this song so excitedly (and well) about the arrival of Santa!

Judy everything.

Loved it so much. So much heart and polish!

ThirtySomething on Hulu, SUCH a great show! Weird, Relateable, Grown Up, yet not. oh the feelz

The only 'Scary' Movie is a new movie. If it's something you're re-watching,it's just a film at that point.
