Yeah, but I can stream TV shows from the future

Man, why does everbody have to talk shit about Californians? There's no such thing as a "Californian." California is THE MOST populous state in the US and it's huge. I suspect our "inability to make up our minds" reflects the massive diversity here (and huge constant influx of people from other parts of the country).

Why doesn't anybody take the train anymore? It's all aeroplanes, whirlybirds and dirigibles. Point A to B, no time to meet your neighbor, take in the scenery and enjoy meal and a cocktail while the peasants in the back play cards.

You were instrumental in helping create this nightmare world, George. THIS IS YOUR LIFE!

I get my internet from an independent local ISP. Their service is intermittent and even at its best it's still not that fast, but they're a tiny bit cheaper than Comcast or AT&T and when you call them up to tell them their service isn't working, it's easy to get a real live person on the phone to tell you "We're

…you could, couldn't you?

I suppose my work here is done. Where's the maid?

Biopics are almost always awful, especially when the person of focus is still alive/people that knew them are still alive/there's a plethora of existing footage on the subject. There are already a couple of solid documentaries on Stephen Hawking.

That's really a shame. The video is funnier with the sound off. The titles and visual gags are amusing, but the delivery couldn't be worse. Even a lousy joke can be funny if delivered right and likewise, a funny joke can be rendered lifeless with poor delivery.

Thai pumpkin curry is amazing though.

I see a vulnerable and frightened old man clinging on by a wizened finger over the void of irrelevance. Just let go Gene.

Make sure to close the door on your way out

Heh. I was not aware. The series was trying my patience and I'm not caught up. If it resolves itself and arcs upwards, maybe I'll finish it off.

"Hannibal hitting its stride?" You're out of your mind. The first season was fun and novel, with the glorious cooking sequences providing a twisted reframing of contemporary food porn culture, but this second season seems pretty boring, lackluster and phoned-in. There's no suspense in the incarceration and trial of

Ahhh, the sweet path of mediocrity.
