“Subscribers will get to download and play a Nintendo Entertainment System or Super Nintendo Entertainment System game (with newly-added online play) for free for a month,”

In the age of party chat, it’s inexcusable that Nintendo cannot build in simple friend messaging features into its 2017 console.

No achievement support. No apparent e-store upgrades so people stop buying the same games on multiple platforms. No mention of the Gamecube backwards compat, which is a huge selling point. Focusing on motion controls instead of the portability, which is its biggest selling point. Lack of 3rd party developers.

They spent a good 4 minutes of their huge press conference having Todd Howard talk about his *not-special-edition* version of 2011's smash hit. For a 2017 console.

I love this podcast, but this one really should be titled “Kotaku Splitscreen: Kirk and Matthew, Two Guys Who Trail Off Inaudibly at the End of Sentences”

The one black mark on this soundtrack is the blatant Skyrim theme ripoff near the end.

The bus vote one was pretty funny, I dunno.

I’d actually like to see an article like this about actual plot holes of various FF games and what a patch could fix.

Just my opinion is all. I love FF’s janky storylines. No one has any idea what happens in XIII-2. No one.

    Agree there.

The best FF’s have dumb, convoluted plots and great characters. Plot has never been FF’s strong suit - it’s always been about gameplay, characters, and pushing boundaries/technology. So far it sounds like XV is hitting these bullet points.

A few years back my band’s van broke down in Waco right on whatever that hellish commercial strip road is with all the fast food. It must be this same road you speak of. In the damn middle of summer. We were stuck there literally all day... BUT! Hell if that Applebees didn’t set us straight. I mean, blast Applebees

    Get fucked, Nazi dickhead.

It’s like a pump fake except oops I dropped the ball oops it went in the basket

“Dishonored 2 sticks to this formula, adding a liberal dose of experimentation that helps counterbalance a continued lack of charm.”

    Ah, Daggerfall. So many feels.

I totally understand and I think we’re all in that place right now.

Turning away is what got us into this mess, my bruh.

If this is how you drive normally, then you’re an asshole.
