Doesn’t everybody drink lattes now?

Can I agree that the apology was lame while still thinking the “#Rashomon” tag was well-used? Regardless of it being used in reference to an Asian, it distills his point into a single word: Two people may remember the same event very differently, without deceitful intent on either side. It’s certainly less charged

what does being 40+ years old have to do with being racist?

Um, it’s not a myth. She didn’t campaign in those place during the crucial period when that would have made a difference. You must be pretty deep in some weird Hillary dead-ender bubble if you think it’s a myth. It was talked about in “Shattered” and I believe also in “What Happened.”

I haven’t watched it yet, but I’m glad to hear Cecily Strong had a good show. I feel like she’s been continually kicked to the curb since she lost the Weekend Update slot.

Because of course she did.

Those episodes were also middling.

“Middling” is the exact word for this boring, overinflated writing staff and cast. How in the world it takes a cast of almost 2 dozen to bring us this crap is beyond me.

He was warm and funny in his monologue, nimble in some weak sketch material, and yelled “Believe women!” in the goodnights.

That story broke Thursday, the sketches were done and ready to go. Weekend Update would’ve been the only option but that was already full so we’ll have to wait a week. You can go jerk off to Hannity rambling about it if that helps you though.

That really bugs me, too. The way I see it, a skit is something that 12-year-olds perform on the last day of summer camp, or that middle management performs for the staff at a corporate retreat.

Look, I know this is petty, but the word is “sketch” not “skit.”

Mark the day the word “Hero” was rendered meaningless. 10/8/17

I only know it because I go to a lot of minor league baseball games where the “Safelite repair, Safelite replace” jingle plays after EVERY SINGLE FOUL BALL.

Yeah to be honest I saw that skit and thought damn I need to call them to get my windshield replaced.

I thought some of this felt a little forced (the bits about dating exes, the weird presence of Marty and his nephew just to make the final bit come together) but most of it was brilliant. The pickle jar bit, the tongs (brought back beautifully at the end), the dialogue with the sex worker—all gold. And I think the

I was sadly thinking the same thing. “History of Violence” will be over by December, and we’ll be left with stories like this, which are akin to a grade-school student rehashing plot in a book report. There is little original content being generated here anymore. Say what you will about TMZ, but they actually have

They would rather have a high volume of reposted content from other sites to allow a greater content of Amazon ads than fewer good stories. It’s safe to say the AV Club, even the diminished version of the last couple years, is dead.

For god’s sake, it would make so much of a difference just to have a Recent Articles page again. It was extraordinarily convenient before the switch, and now that nothing on the front page has any permanence it’s completely necessary. Seriously, the only things raised to the featured articles on the top are the
