I mean, Fiennes, Bassett and Lewis were already stars, and Tom Sizemore was at worst an elite That Guy at that point.

Boyega plays a security guard who inadvertently gets tied to a possible shooting that some trigger-happy cops also inadvertently got tied to, and even though the audience can safely assume that Boyega’s character did nothing wrong—because he’s John Boyega and everyone loves him…

Great timing.

How far into Spielberg's career do you have to get before studios would have let him do anything he wanted, including making a movie with a popular female star?

It's one thing to pull an episode that depicts gun violence after a shooting, but an episode that discusses violence would seem to be the opposite of insensitive.

Marvel doesn't do romance much because the nerds complained that romance tropes are the devil, since Thor and Iron Man have both lost their girlfriends.

We didn't get to see Hera, even in flashback…

Kiersey Clemons, who’s been in a bunch of things but will likely soon be known as the DC cinematic universe’s version of Iris West.

They gave it a B. What time do you want to schedule the show trial?
