You guys don’t have speed cameras? Add that and Nordic style income based tickets and it will slow down the speeds, no matter how much you make.

You can ask me too. I ordered mine in June 2020 and received it in September 2020. They had not yet ramped up production so there was a wait. It’s a black S3. Back then it was $2199 for the bike, $590 for the 3 year full maintenance/theft plan, and I also got a rear rack and large pannier. All that with shipping my…
A large part of that is the transit infrastructure you mentioned. The best way to not get into a car accident is to not get into a car. The US is woefully behind the times when it comes to transit. A lot is due to it’s size and history, but it’s laughable how bad we are at mass transit here.
Vehicle inspections that actually check vehicle safety>
I like to use Germany as an example because they have unlimited speed roads and are *still* way safer than the US. Really messes with people who think lower speed limits is a solution.
Right, because they have good transit infrastructure. But they have fewer deaths per km anyway.
UK / Nordics are even lower than Germany. Better training, better roads, better enforcement.
The battery is removeable and serviceable.
per capita normalizes for different populations.
Good driver training too. We don’t have that. Most states don’t even have car safety inspections.
Having come from the KC MO and surrounding areas. Natural selection doing the world’s work.
The US has 300% more vehicle deaths per capita than Germany. How does Germany do that? Not with any of that BS you wrote about. They have strict licensing requirements and good transit infrastructure.

It’s even worse here in Missouri. Year after year the rate of deaths due to not wearing a seatbelt are greater than 65% of all traffic fatalities. In NW Missouri it’s particularly bad. There have been less than 10 days so far this year without a seatbeltless fatality. I comment on every newspaper Facebook post about…
God I hope that Xzibit makes a commercial bouncing this thing and doing a burnout to some 90's Lyriq’s,
Just screams, we’re Cadillac! and we’re years behind everyone else!
That is all GM can do and sell at a profit - pick up trucks. So they polished turds they could make and here we are.
“the toughest was finding a way to make 682 horsepower and 653 lb-ft of torque feel manageable”
It converts a lot of gas to a lot of tire smoke. So, Yes?
I mean, I get that it’s not just taking the exact same engine and just plopping it in there, but also it doesn’t sound like it was really a lot, relatively. Basically, the same stuff it would take to shove a big V8 in anything, but actually a lot less because it’s already a vehicle that takes a big V-8.
fuck, this is dumb
