It does mention you have to get the high displacement engine to achieve better economy. +170 cc! You get a bonus 5 hp with that upgrade as well!

To be fair, the part of the Promaster that sucks is the drive train. And that’s all Dodge.
I agree, it’s rather generic. As is VW. But which VW are you thinking about specifically?
First of all, you are correct.
The cheapest Benz should be a well built well driving high quality car that can cost a lot more than mainstream cars the same size. It should be more quiet, more comfortable, more stable and safer. It should be able to reach a higher mileage than mainstream cars while not receiving much more than regular scheduled…
Yes. This was common back in the day. In normal production base models.
Outing someone is a terrible thing to do, unless the outed details are relevant to the public. For example because they show gross hypocrisy. For example, whatever legal things a politician does in the bedroom is none of our business. However, when a politician is actively crusading against gay rights but turns out to…

I moved from the Netherlands to Germany. The possibilities in Germany are far smaller and way more bureaucratic.
But is it harder to get right than other languages?
Sometimes I think I live in some kind of alternate universe. You see people like JKR make some statement that you can most certainly disagree with and might even be a bit offended about, but which are not hateful or virulent. At the same time the world is figuratively burning. Yet, JKR is singled out and treated like…
Probably taped over because they are either cloudy or not properly aimable. As in, they might cause glare. They could make the car fail inspection.
We did the same thing with a smart home device that is meant to control heating. Typical UK professional installer could not grasp the idea of a jumper switch, so in our new generation of hardware we removed that feature and added a bridging cable to achieve the same goal. We made our product worse, so specific…
Because they don’t emit that much during a test.
I guess the Germans could make a very easy counter point here.
It was also a very cheap car when new, and the first gen Twingo was introduced in 1993. They’re usually used as disposable cars and get the bare minimum of maintenance. Any old well used car is economically worthless. And, in Germany, when it does not have a German or Germanic (Skoda, Mini, SEAT) badge depreciation…
Assuming the outside tire diameter is close to original and it physically fits your car you can get that tire size written in the paperwork, and it would be no problem for TUV. My car came stock with 205 width tires. I currently have 195 wide (winter wheels) and 215 wide tires in my paperwork in Germany.
David’s car did not “pass(es) all the tests with flying colors” at all. It was merely good enough. Just look at the brake imbalance he still had when he passed. They are not that unreasonable.
