That makes sense.  The tests keep getting more stringent, so I would expect a car to fare worse and worse over time if the manufacturer isn’t updating it.

When I was in Einhoven, NL I was taken to a DAF museum where you got to see their product line.  Was a lot of fun.  They made small cars and large transport trucks.  Very odd company but lots of interesting models.
