The novelty outweighs all the negatives for me. I need to see the look on people's faces when I roll up in my hearse and start taking a trunk out of the back to, like, pitch a tent.

I want to DRIVE the powerboat. You can PAY for it :)

Murder hornet nest found in AC vents.

Boy, that’s some Forza Horizon shit!

Ego Alley! The statue of Alex Haley was watching and approved. I’m actually amazed they could build two ramps: one’s between the Boston Whaler store and the Fleet Reserve Club (always crowded) and the other is in the public parking lot (always even more crowded). Annapolis is awesome! Tinier than you think and the

I got a ticket for accidentally violating the no wake zone in Ego Alley 30+ years ago as a kid. No ticket for this guy? Obviously youth discrimination!

I grew up in Annapolis, and this more impressive due to how tight this area of town is.

You’re not familiar with Miss Geico? My amateur boat spotting eyes tell me its probably the same boat with HOONIGAN plastered where the traditional sponsorship logos would be. Also, while I’m not much of a boat guy, seeing these things in person is a hoot.

it’s cool seeing the cops vested interest in if he makes it... the one doing the Tiger Woods hand pump and clap while the other standing on his tippy toes to see the launch.

That was a wonderful distraction from real life - I totally agree. Having a car jump over a boat just makes you feel like a teenager again. And what was that Pitviper convertible Cadillac? Was it modified? Just looked extra long from that camera angle on the third video

While I wholeheartedly agree with you because people should do the right thing and learn how to drive properly, I understand why they’re putting these items on and think they add value to the car.

If only Toyota would bring this over.

Actually you bring up a good point. I should say “Your mileage may vary” because it is absolutely dependent on where you are located. When I was in DFW my insurance premiums were 40% higher than now in a small town outside of Corpus Christi. But I did get a huge $30/Mo EV discount on my i3 that I didn’t realize was

it does give a solid example of why cars are so expensive. Bad drivers should not be saved from darwinism.

The problem is they often take out people who weren’t being stupid.

Most people don’t consider the insurance benefits of that safety equipment.
It’ll be cheaper to insure. How much of a difference depends on who you are, where you are, etc.

Made this comment on Oppo but it deserves to be here too:

My guess is that a majority of buyers opted for both the performance and safety packages, getting rid of the business case for an entry-level Veloster N. Either way, it is still priced right considering its competitors.

Agreed – still a good value.

I think you might be right. I would’ve gladly paid extra for a new performance package that would have given more power, maybe close to 300 horses. But its still a good value for the segment.
