Plenty of good stories from the 70s through the 90s, though I’m operating from an English speaking point of view:

Starring Gary Busey as John Force.

The whole Force family...

Stories about some of the great and pioneering women in motorsports would probably make great movies. (They’ve already done Shirley Muldowney)

Michelle Mouton.

The life and times of John Force.

A movie about early 2000s rally racing or group b rally racing needs to happen!

Same here. I learned left-foot braking first, and I still drive that way, but only in automatics. When I decided to buy my first manual last year, I began to right-foot brake to get used to it before making the purchase.

Then you right foot brake ... people seem to think that LFB means that your left foot is eternally hovering over the brake pedal which just isn’t the case.

Seems like a lot of hate for left foot braking here, but I’m with ya. My GTI has the DSG transmission, so I have 2 feet and 2 pedals and I’m using them both. As a few comments read, “you could just not tailgate”... relax, I’m also watching you in my mirror so I don’t get rear ended.

You can be pressing both pedals with one foot too. Don’t make the mistake of assuming that all left foot brakers are bad drivers and all right foot brakers are good drivers.

As was mentioned in the video, when you’re cruising around in a safe area, you can just put your left foot on the dead pedal like normal. It’s only when you’re approaching an active situation where you would be hoving, such as city traffic or highway merging. Anyone who has the muscle memory of an ordinary left foot

That’s exactly how I drive in the city — left foot hovering above the brake pedal.

Hello everyone. My name is featherlite, and I am a left-foot-braker. I started left foot braking from the very day I learned how to drive as a teenager. Being exposed to karting didn’t help much either. After a while it just felt so natural and normal to left foot brake that I found myself doing it all the time. On my

Don’t most modern cars have brake override? Granted it doesn’t cut all the power from the engine, but under hard breaking especially (as you describe) the brakes will win out.

To be fair, the two last seasons have been very tight between the top three drivers.

I’m glad I came after the uhm.

That said, I appreciate the sentiment, and thanks for hanging around.

He is certainly holding another lucky duck there.

Unrelated but very related

Congrats - though I think he Ott to have gotten it before this :)

Go Team Duck!
