Money and stability. M-Sport can’t afford to pay the drivers much (comparatively speaking), and can’t offer contracts of more than one year at a time because their program is so dependent on things like the sales of their customer cars

The Gymkhana stuff was the one part I didn’t like in Dirt 3. I’d usually set the difficulty to the lowest level, do just enough stunts to take first place, then go get a snack while the counter counted down.

Like eric said, Block sold DC before he started rallying

Maybe, but only if Ford agrees to provide some funding and it doesn’t conflict with any of the rallies he wants to do

I could. He likes stage rally way more than rallycross

Sometimes I like to watch

He’s already said he’s still partnered with Ford and he’ll be doing certain rallies in an old Escort Cosworth

SO GOING

Even in World Rallycross you’d get penalized for cutting a corner that much

Now playing

Could be worse, at least he wasn’t demanding everyone clap their hands and dance

Drones don’t have the speed, range, or endurance. And then there’s the issue of getting the video signal out of an area with little to no infrastructure.

WHY WAIT????

“It’s a hit?!”

I thought my friends laid on the guilt trip when I show up late to things

More money in NASCAR, and the logistics of comprehensively livecasting a race that takes place in terrain as opposed to a prepared and controlled course is insane.

Eh, no great loss. They’re a dime a dozen anyway

Of course Kristen wouldn’t change her own tire, that’s that chauffeur’s job. But the chauffeur can’t do it either if there’s no spare.

The amount for the tow isn’t the point, the fact that it could be avoided if cars still had spares is.

She’s helped crew rally cars. She can change a tire like a boss

I’m not saying it’s a bad price for a tow at all. It’s a completely reasonable price without a doubt. What I’m saying is it sucks to have to shell out $100 (on top of the cost of new tires) that could have been avoided by the car having a spare in the trunk like cars used to.
