I would have left a note saying I want to buy them a drink

It’s a pretty big deal

Have you checked out the coverage on redbull.tv?

Haha that’s all that matters

Believe me, I know. I was there for most of them ;)

You mean championship, not race, right?

Yo, dawg. Imma let you finish, but Antoine L’estage won the Rally America Championship in 2010, not David Higgins

I love these (biased of course), but they’ve put me in a quandary. What newer car is both as functional/capable and as quick/fun?

Check RedBull.tv

There are about 30 stage rallies currently held within the U.S, all with little more than banner tape (or occasionally snow fence) between competitors and spectators. And the WRC already sells spectator tickets at some events. Check out the ticket prices for Rally GB for example.

I once did a rally where we zip tied a bluetooth speaker to the front of the car and played this while racing the stages

What’s even crazier is that if you look at the hinkelsteins just before he hits them you see the exact stones he hit are already leaning out from another car. Apparently that’s the crash spot.

He may have. He definitely at the very least did some body damage to the bumper, but there’s no damage in any other shot. Who knows what else they replaced

Not only did he sell DC, but all involvement between Ken and DC is pretty much over. If you look at his cars the DC logo became a tiny square on the Hoonicorn and hasn’t been on the car since. He’s Hoonigan Clothing now.

Can confirm, he’s a genuinely decent guy to hang out with.

When I raced tires were open up to 40", but the restrictions on power, suspension, etc made something that big impractical/impossible. My truck has 35x12.50R15 Baja T/As

The biggest issue was the same that befalls most production classes in racing. Every vehicle has weak links (for my Ranger it’s tie rods), and because of production rules you’re not allowed to replace or strengthen the weak links. So you end up spending a lot of money repeatedly replacing the same broken parts (which

I’ve got the old 7300 rules somewhere from back when it was a class with more than one truck in it. It died somewhere around 2012/2013 due to lack of competition. My truck was built for that class

Can confirm

Yep
