There are about 30 stage rallies currently held within the U.S, all with little more than banner tape (or occasionally snow fence) between competitors and spectators. And the WRC already sells spectator tickets at some events. Check out the ticket prices for Rally GB for example.

I’ve got the old 7300 rules somewhere from back when it was a class with more than one truck in it. It died somewhere around 2012/2013 due to lack of competition. My truck was built for that class
