Fair point. I do think having a cop at the exit is a solid idea

Hey, if this gets people to stop leaving car shows and meets like idiots (thereby risking permission to have future meets) then I’m for it.

Jimmie Johnson had a similar encounter with a late night rock in Baja in 1995. In Johnson’s case it put a permanent end to his desert racing career.

This probably totally doesn’t count, but...

Haven’t seen John Wick, but in terms of the other three I don’t need to defend them because even the Honest Trailers keep saying they’re awesome.

A valiant effort

Here’s my big problem with car culture in movies. Name one car movie from the last... let’s say 30 years, aside from Rush and documentaries, where the hero(es) of the film didn’t commit a crime more serious than a traffic violation.

You mean “this is now a Psych thread?”

Now playing

I love the ones where they’re like “we can’t even be mean, this movie is too awesome”

I go sideways in cars a lot, and I can’t recall it ever causing me to lean in the seat like that. Just sayin.

It’s awful in NCIS too. The moment I heard it I thought it was fake.

Red Bull TV airs one stage live every Saturday during the event, and nightly recap shows every day.

He’s from California and doesn’t understand cold

I think, ironically, what makes it look/feel staged is the fact that they cut out a lot of the cars she passed. If they showed the countless hatches and low budget cars she likely went around as well instead of just the halo cars it would’ve made it look more genuine. But that would have made the math more

Chris Hoy made it basically pointless to put another celebrity in that car ever. He’s only four seconds of the Stig’s old time in that car.

Based on my watching of the Nurburgring webcam and corner youtube videos it seems like there’s pretty much always 1 million pounds worth of cars on the track, all being driven by unskilled drivers. (Hell, look at the time Tanner was smoking people around the ‘Ring in a Ford Raptor. Or Sabine in the van for that

I think this sums it up perfectly.
