Me too, but when you consider the price of a BDA vs the price of a Mustang V6 I get the logic

The issue with Ollie Coleman wasn’t a local. There was a state trooper that needed immediate access to the road to respond to a non-race emergency.

Haha, a logical assumption, but no. Don’t smoke, was taking a break at a rest stop during a 1,500 mile drive home from a stage rally, saw the post and felt like getting creative.

We transformed our rally car into a treehouse on Friday. Does that count?

Had to leave some for everyone else

The story of The Dark Side Of The Hoon is a tale as old as Time and was bound to happen One Of These Days. There was A Momentary Lapse of Traction, and despite Mason’s best efforts of Turning Away he became Just Another Mc In the Wall, resulting in The Great Ding in the Side. When Mason saw the damage he felt so much

Had to watch it a couple times, but I know what happened. He turned left planning to loop it around and go back out the way he came in, which is standard procedure, but when he did he was met with a wall of cars blocking the way.

Actually shouldn’t be a problem. Typically rallies carry insurance that covers damage to third party property, since rally cars are prone to leaving the road and damaging someone’s hedge/shed/wall/mailbox/etc. It’s part of what the competitor entry fee goes toward.

I endorse this

No word has yet been invented that describes how much I love this

That’s not even all of them. Each manufacturer usually brings something like 40-60 people to each event.

I know the form my addiction takes

I know what onboard I’m watching tonight

Yes. You don’t see the cars as often, but there’s something special about being there in person. Sitting in the forest on the edge of a dirt road, waiting, buzzing with impatient anticipation, ears straining. Then you hear it, the whine of the engine and the explosive pop of the anti-lag bouncing off the trees,

Pretty sure he was still in shock. He took forever to even do the interview and still looked pretty out of it during the podium ceremony.

Everyone else already said what I would have said. So, cats.

Mexico isn’t stealing the event, they just hosted one small piece of it. Driver Benito Guerra explained it well. Mexico City has a massive population, most of them have never seen a rally car before. By bringing the cars to the city and putting on a show this year hopefully a number of them will become interested in

No, I didn’t get hired for that one. Definitely be there for STPR though.
