This season is so bad. I also think it is a perfect example of why these shows should go to the mini arc structure.

Flash may be the highest rated show, but the quality has been subpar or worse since season 1 ended.

Shea Sorrano wrote about the Hollywood version of public education when he was still with Grantland. As a former teacher myself, I could relate. One of things he highlighted was every teacher in a movie or TV show only ever teaches the one class. I think Freedom Writers maybe at least mentioned her having another

I saw this position expressed on another website, but I really think it’s time the CW shows adopt the structure of JL and JL Unlimited and go to two or three episode mini arcs instead of the season long serial structure. They’ve only gotten it right a couple of times. Arrow season 2 is still the high water mark. LoT

Re: Team Other Team-what I’ve been saying for a while now. Are they intentionally writing them to be these constantly aggrieved crybabies who for some reason feel like they have actual credibility against Team Arrow?

Christ Almighty, I have had more than my fill of Team Other Team constantly bitching and have hurt looks any time they are around Team Arrow. Rene is probably the worst. I have really liked the character, but not only did his hotheaded actions actually have consequences he should have learned from, HES THE ONE WHO

IMO, the Flash has jumped the shark. Not saying it can’t rescue itself with some clever writing, but right now that show is garbage. I love LoT and Arrow equally for different reasons. I also popped huge for Ben Gale. Then i realized that there are probably a ton of viewers who are too young to remember Ben Linus and

I feel like we are currently watching this show get warmed up for its forthcoming jump of the shark.

The evil General is played by the actress who played Dany in The Shield, my second favorite show of all time.

Overall I thought this ep was pretty decent through Update and then petered our. I agree that Hart’s infidelities do hurt the underlying tone of his stand up. I really enjoy family humor and “men and women are so different” because I relate to it and believe it’s ok to highlight our differences. But when the person

This current cast is one of the most inherently likable and talented in a long time, but good Lord do the live sketches, other than Update, consistently suck.

LoT has definitely ascended to the top tier, right below Agents of Shield and Arrow in the full comic tv show hierarchy, and well above Gotham, Flash, and Supergirl. Supergirl is pretty well unwatchable at this point, and Gotham and Flash kinda fluctuate between good and groan inducing

I loved this crossover, and with the statement of 53 Karas, I’m hoping that paves the way for Earth 3 to show up in the Arrowverse

This was the best ep this season, but it still wasn’t all the way solid or good. Chance acquitted himself very well, and I laughed my ass off at the hockey reporter, Soul Crush Crew, and Come Back Barack, but as is becoming usual, it’s like Update inhabits it’s own unique space apart from the rest of the show. It’s

Trump isn’t a tyrant yet. He holds some dangerous beliefs, but he isn’t a tyrant. Also, this “fuck Trump voters” attitude that so many hold will never get us anywhere. The irony is that so many of them were led to vote for Trump because of the same exact attitude in regards to Hillary. Many were bigots, for sure, but

Has anyone else noticed that, outside of Kenan and Weekend Update, this season has pretty well sucked so far? There have been some glimmers, i haven’t watched a single episode yet that I thought, “that was a good one.”

The only episode I didn’t watch live was the pilot, and I really liked the ending. The alternative posited by most people who hated it is “anything but what we go.” That’s pretty weak, and shows contempt for he series as a whole. We got a great story with tons of kooky, silly, intriguing, and emotionally affecting

John Noble was awesome as the big bad in Sleepy Hollow. It was too bad that show sputtered to a close.

First, if you’ve given up on Arrow, go back. It’s back to being awesome. Second, I can’t be the only person who has found the acting of the villains and the special effects this season both pretty terrible. Which is a shame, because I love this show and Harry in particular is fantastic, but the aforementioned issues
