Can I please state what we are all thinking: When the hell is Slade coming back?

Identity Crisis would be pretty dark, event for Arrow.
Ok, couple of observations and comments.
Remember when Rick Gonzalez was Spanish in Old School? My how times change. Rene and Quentin are absolutely my favorite supporting characters, other than Slade.
That really is annoying me. I know that things he knows are vast, but Littlefinger betraying his entire family and still plotting strikes me as pretty important.
Damn ain't that the truth about the northern lords. For all their talk of "the North remembers" and bullshit about being loyal and leaving the politics to the southerners, these guys are the most fickle bunch of divas around.
I think that much of it is due to it still feeling like a fools errand to everyone else but those who have witnessed it. Cersei clearly doesn't believe it, and I get the feeling Dany is only going along with it because she trusts Jon and Tyrion. She believes what they say, but not far enough to risk losing the war she…
I took it as him being afraid of the Night King. Or possibly the crows scattering, thus no longer being useful for observation, leading to Bran drawing back
Yeah, I get that for sure. I was just using dragons as one of the many crazy/outlandish things we as fans accept, and then there is exponential uproar about time. And I count myself in that group. The first few eps this season I was borderline pissed about it, then. I just decided to settle in for the ride.
The timeline/speed of travel has been a bit concerning, but it could also be explained as "we haven't seen *insert timespan here* but the doesn't mean it didn't happen" line of reasoning. Entire days, weeks, and even SEASONS would pass on the Sopranos without us seeing them. For all we know, the first four episodes…
The real absurdity is that we as viewers/fans are trying to apply logic to an illogical situation. All that really matters here is contextual plausibility. If I can accept that magic and dragons and undead ice warriors can exist in this world, then I should be able to accept wonky timelines and poor strategic decisions
Those earlier choices were pretty damn bad. A lot of that can be chalked up to being young and stupid, and following the lead of Viserys. I think his death was the moment she finally became free from history, for the time being anyways. The relationship with Drogo has always troubled me too. She clearly acknowledges…
I don't think she's a monster, just slightly better than typical. That's all. I could very well be proven wrong, and that's ok. I will still contend that at this point she is verging into typical Westerosi ruler, but with the potential to still be queen we all thought she could be prior to Dance with Dragons.
And don't get me wrong, I know that morality is shifty in Westeros, and probably my favorite character other than Jon Snow is book Jaime. But he wasn't until he began what seemed through DwD as his redemption arc. Dany has become more like her surroundings the closer she's gotten to Westerosi
I do agree with you about her empathy and morality. As I said before, she's way better than many of the rulers the realm has seen (Aerys, Joffrey, Cersei, Stannis if he had actually won the throne, just to name a few). But the main problem for me is that we the audience are supposed to rally around her and get behind…
Ok man. I've never had a comment deleted from one of these threads for profanity, nor have I ever made one overly personal, and I'm not going to start with you. I'm glad you enjoy the shows and/or the books.
A common synonym for sanctimonious is smug, which is probably more accurate anyway. I apologize for the confusion.
I do love a good bout of snark in a discussion. By "all the others" I meant she fits right in with the majority of the rulers in Westerosi history. Not as bad as the worst, and so far not as good as the great ones. She definitely did some good things once she gained power, but her primary motivation is just power for…

I understand a sanctimonious know it all response to an opinion In the course of a lighthearted discussion about a book/television series by someone who obviously takes said series just a little too seriously.
