That's a very fair point. In that context, he and Dany are very complimentary

That line about Jon needing to kneel was annoying. She doesn't shy from the awful things her father did, but of course her solution is "what this place needs is me." Westeros has had more than it's share of rulers who only care about ruling. She really is just like all the others. Even her small council is ill at ease…
Dany feels like just another of the rulers of yesterday, not unlike Cersei in that regard, whole Jon feels like the new version that the continent needs and hasn't really ever had, save for a few decent Targs here and there.
That's something I might go back and examine. This pretty interesting to consider.
I'm not sure if I am alone here, but everything Dany does causes her to come across like a petulant child. I know that she's had it rough, and that her family was overthrown, but she rarely seems interested in hearing reason. I'm not ruling out her at least coming to the edge of a heel turn. I cannot under any…
Just finished up on Netflix. Really enjoyed this show. But didn't Hermione's heel turn seem just a tad sudden and drastic?
That sucks. You guys did a great job, even when the product didn't match your effort. Definitely will miss these recaps. Their absence will reduce my site visits here for sure.
That Tyrion-Mad King theory is one I can totally get behind and as far as I am aware has been around for a long time.
I concur with the rest of the replies. Man, we have got major shit to take care of here, lets not dilly dally. It's awesome that these two have found a connection, and if/when we see one or both of them die, it will resonate for sure. But they are way down the list of interest and importance
Smackdown has so much potential, a fantastic roster, and the benefit of having only two hours, and they STILL book the show for YouTube, just like Raw. Ugh, this company
How freaking over would Roman be if he was the snarling, intimidating looking, gives no shits heel champion? And then how much more over would he be once they turned him face? I would have failed Creative Writing 101 had I taken it, but damn if it doesn't seem obvious.
Very often forgotten in discussion of the Lost finale is that it was a happy one. That final scene in the church was perfect IMO. All these people who were wandering through life flailing for answers and meaning finally getting to say the final goodbye together. I loved it.
Yeah, you're right. I guess it was the perfect end to the type of season that preceded it. Not an enjoyable watch whatsoever
Um, is it just me, or was this episode awful and nonsensical?
That makes perfect sense and explains the emphasis on his conversation with Cisco. They probably won't go that route, because they've forgotten how to write a fun, sensible show without a timeline like taffy, but a good idea nonetheless
A few random musings. This show is a perfect example of either network patience or the amount of investment major financial investment can buy a show. The first two-thirds of season one were not good, but it's been full speed ahead more or less since then. Which leads to my next point. This was absolutely the best…
Man, I don't know what else to say other than Raw is awful. Like, sucks in a WWF 94-95. I was 9 when Flair and Steamboat were the best thing going, almost 16 when Austin won King of the Ring, 17 when Bret screwed Bret, DX and the nWo were both white hot, 18 during peak Goldberg, loved early Cena, and a Network…
My heart was absolutely broken when Nora said she'd kill the baby. Also, that image of neither of them putting the fire out, with Kevin waking away and Nora just living with it without doing anything to fix it, was perfect visual storytelling. Damn if they haven't taken these characters miles beyond what was present…
Did anyone else recognize the cover of the National Geographic? I know I've seen it somewhere else, but I just can't place it. I want to say it turned up in Lost, but I'm not sure.
Ward is just such a great character. It's hard to watch this arc and not want him back and on the side of heroes.
