Isn't this basically a big genre pastiche? That makes it seem kind of deliberately batshit to me.

Pics or didn't happen.

Did people actually laugh at the book, or did they just laugh at the premise? Because I started reading it and while Grahame aped Austen's dull style pretty well, it seemed to me that it ended up making zombies as dull as everything else with the flat prose. Deliberate or not, is that an actually amusing reading

Something that was kind of weird was how we learned like half way through the movie that William Gates has a kid, and it's a bit of a surprise. When I later watched American Movie, there's this revelation about a third of the way in that Mark Borchardt, the subject of the doc, has kids and it comes out of nowhere too.

Certainly the best PG-13 one.

10 Seconds! All the good videos have a ten in the title! This is Viral Videos 101!

Hopefully the donations and donations just keep pouring in until one or two of them get greedy enough they just say "fuck it" and flee the country with the crowdfunded millions.

Morris claimed that he interviewed eleven other inmates at the time and that he still has the film and audio. What a perfect opportunity to show all that to the world that release was!

I'm still going through a phase of hating Palahniuk's body of work because I read Pygmy a while ago.

The more I hear it, the more that moan Tina does in times of stress becomes really uncomfortable.

Huh. I'm surprised there's enough of a following of that series to justify this.

And yet no Psychonauts movie?! *scoff*

No, but I think that says more about me.

So have we found that Extract is a movie that improves on repeat viewings and possibly a cult classic in the making?

Thanks for making your disapproval so satisfying.

I love it when things mix being deadly serious with being silly. I might sound like an Alan Moore groupie but I agree with that quote attributed to him that life isn't a tragedy, a comedy, a drama, an action film, whatever. Things should be tonally mixed all the time because that's more relatable than just having one

Oh, what asinine beloved junk we'll have to talk about then!
