@JackTrade: Yeah pretty much. A finer introduction to the art of power oversteer I have yet to drive. Back in the day the boys used to leave a couple of paving slabs in the boot in an attempt to keep it all sunny side up.

@freds4hb: I am firmly in the Scott Speed fan club. Not just because I was please to see an American in F1, but also because I got the feeling he was something of a straight shooter, which is not something the delicate egos in the F1 circus like to have around. That is probably what kept him from getting another

Ford Capri 280. The final 1038 Capris to roll down the line at Halewood in 1986 were all painted a special 'Brooklands' green, had 15" alloys and a full leather interior.

@protomech: Hahahaha, how long have you been sitting on *that* little gem?

"I wanted a mission. And for my sins, they gave me one....."

@$kaycog: Holy sweet mother of god, there is a JPS one as well!!

@$kaycog: What the hell is that and more importantly, where can I buy one?

@jalopnikfan: Ah, the March 701. Steering it was like trying to sign your autograph with someone jogging your elbow. I'm not sure who said that.

@billybobster: The thinking was sound. Mount the wings directly on the suspension uprights, pressing straight onto the tyres without compressing the springs.

Well, those 3D glasses I swiped from when I saw Avatar have finally come in handy.

Looks like just the job for Hyde Park corner.

@Tossed Mazda3hatch's Chicken Salad all over Accord's face with a plate of croutons and Bleu Cheese

Now playing

@Maymar: I've been itching for the excuse to post this, and you Sir, have given me just that!

The old man had one of those very same ex-police Vauxhall Victor estates in the early eighties. It was fitted with the 3.3 straight six from the Cresta I believe, a special police only fitment.

Holy shit. That is a complete funk machine.

@FodderTheSane: The last time this came up as a subject of mirth, I found it offensive.

@FodderTheSane: "I'm now going to do a little number I like to call 'solving the case'. It's cute, I think you'll like it"......

It certainly is in London, but I'm curious as to why there is no front license plate on the car.
