Her powers training made no sense (Jiaying trained her for like, ten minutes, once, and didn't even do much), but the regular fight and fire arms stuff was okay. I just chalked it up to working with May over the time skip between seasons.

I've never liked Carol. As a character it always seemed the like the writers were either projecting their own "ideal female" superhero traits on her, or were simply trying too hard to pander to comic book culture. Then Civil War came along she became just plain unlikable, willing to throw kids into the negative zone…
