This is a hilarious instance to get upset about what you’re claiming though. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is already a deliberate attack on the straight white male protagonist. Scott Pilgrim is not a likable character (that was a big part of why I had mixed feelings about the movie). The point is that he’s a selfish

Nah, it was actually great, and a majority of the criticism comes from people who can’t process stories they don’t immediately relate to.

People incapable of character growth hate character growth.

Sounds about right. The main game was easy except the bonus worlds. As someone who games 24/7, these levels were a challenge. SURE, the guys who train hardcore in the kaizo stuff will have no problem but “normal” gamers are going to find a real challenge with the bonus world.

Sometimes you just gotta do a little eco terrorism, ya know?

Tim Sweeney allowing propaganda geared towards children!? I would have never expected this from the man who misunderstood 1984 and shoved that in people’s faces while pretending he was some kind of champion of consumer rights. Surely the open “metaverse” will limit this kind of behavior from other companies.

It’s time to fight back. For the planet.
