I couldn’t help but be reminded of the game’s text that lets you know that the robots care for plants in the city, because humans did it. Human farmers may have worn those hats, and the robots are emulating that.

Needing a glossary for the in-game economy, dunno why this makes me puke but it does.

Yeh, my understanding is that slut-shaming is like... calling a woman a slut / saying she has less “value” because she chooses to flaunt / use her sexuality in a way that someone finds objectionable. I don’t think it’s “slut-shaming” Quiet to say that the disembodied camera bouncing between her taint and her boobs is

Great article. I came here just after reading the Bayonetta article. Interesting how different the treatment and presentation is of these two characters (Bayo and Quiet). I’ve played a lot of Bayo and not a lot of MGS, but that dancing in the rain garbage really rubbed the wrong way. Even the camera work in Bayo, I

That woman is like the embodiment of confidence, in her strength, her sexuality, her everything. She radiates it like a star, you can’t just slap a jacket on her or something and think it can be contained.”

Lol, I love this. Its accurate.

Interesting discussion! I’m one of those LGBTQ folk who love Bayonetta. I’ve also met straight men who didn’t want to play Bayonetta when it came out originally because they thought it was “for girls”. The series seems to live in a weird purgatory where it was almost certainly designed with horny gamer boys in mind,

As hipster white trash... Nevermind. lol.

Wow I wish there was a laugh react.

I like the look of the backgrounds now. Many parts of the game looked like paintings, and now I think they look even more like paintings. Particularly the dream world, which on PS1 looked pretty muddy and messy.

Im not sure what a computer is or how technology works, but I love this idea.

POWER~

This fruit was so low hanging, I didn’t even realize you were making a joke at first. Kudos!

Somewhere between schmeat, shlong, and a wangus, for sure.

Yeah, Im out of this conversation lol. Both sides are acting like dinguses. Pirating games you cant access from a giant company doesn’t make you a petty thief, and being personally, morally against pirating doesn’t make you a bootlicker, lol. Calm down internet. Who cares, go play some games, or go outside, call your

Me neither... I mean, my family went in on the online expansion pack, so... on our end, we’re all very happy to get MK DLC for “free”. I know not everyone is in this position, but its cushy for us.

Love it when people who aren’t a part of a marginalized community tell that community how they should be reported on, or what the future should look like for that community. People in here saying Kotaku shouldn’t mention Amy being trans, or that it should be a “footnote”. That’s pretty much the same as saying “not

You should go outside and look at the sky and stuff. Bake cookies with your mom. Fall in love.

You enjoying things is the reason I no longer enjoy the thing!” Lol.

Honestly the DLC caught me off guard. I’ve played all the main AC games, but missed Happy Home Designer on 3DS. I’m really pleasantly surprised at some of the things I’ve come up with just with a simple design prompt. Way more fun than I expected.

The screen cap above has a message about needing to pay taxes, again, Amazon, hilarious.
