Well it is mostly, from what what I can tell, useful for being a 100$ Netflix/hulu/etc, media server client (assuming it uses the same media server software Vita and PS3 use) and ps1/2 emulator attachment for a TV.

The GPU is not involved at all in that process, it would be CPU doing most compression, with GPU loading at the backend of the process.. So it would be whatever resolution was given to it via network.

But you could take the being raped by dickwolves and replace it with any absurd statement (so long as it also causes suffering, say being force fed the dead adventures, and I wouldn't call it amusing) and it would have same effect.

Because the joke isn't "we get raped by wolves" but "person is suffering: what do you do as an MMO character? ignore it unless it is part of the quest!" Which has nothing to do with rape except to say that it causes suffering.
