Tesla Model 3 does not have an OBD2 port.

That works for cars with OBD ports...

DO WANT.

But the new one is SO much better! Who would imagine a car with an interior dating from nearly a decade ago wouldn’t sell well? I really like the way it drives, but can’t stand the interior, and that’s completely fixed on the new one... and it’s no longer a choice. Bah.

Is there one of these with USB-c ports? That would be awesome.

Interesting that the description reads 500e but also 1.4L and the pics definitely are not an e haha

You find me a 500e for 5k... closest I’ve seen is 7-8 but I’d be damn tempted at 5. Still a pretty good deal, though I wouldn’t make it to work in the wintertime and that lowers the value for me a bit...

Neither the 3-door GTI nor the new FiST are available in the US...

Strobing CHMSLs. Every brake application, they flash three times before holding. As best as I can tell, they are only ever added as aftermarket as I generally see them only on cars that I know don’t do that from the factory. There are definitely applications where they will strobe, like BMWs, when panic braking, and

I live in MI and we have mostly American cars which tend to have shared brake/turn lights, and also no vehicle safety inspections. If all 3 lights are functioning, no problem at all. If the CHMSL isn’t functioning (maybe 30% of cars on the road), it’s annoying. If only one brake light is working, it’s very hard to

I’m about 80% highway/county road so that’s what I average. That’s pretty close to the 25 highway rating, which I can beat every once in a while if I try not to have any fun...

I’ve been calling it the Focus Outback, as that’s how Subie started it, too! Then we can call it the Ford 15. THEN the Ford Crosstrek.

I drive 110 miles a day on premium fuel in my 06 Subaru getting only 24 mpg, and I have to buy a stupidly cheap car that gets amazing mileage for it to be worth getting a new-to-me car... and I like my car! Nobody would sell me a fun-to-drive awd wagon that gets good mileage anyway...

Oh man, you’re right! I rode in a 1.0EB automatic once, but it must have never been sold... my apologies!

RIP HANDLING.

Unfortunately, the way they are written, the larger the vehicle, the more lax the requirement. As poor as the economy is in full-size trucks and SUVs, they’re still ahead of the curve in terms of the 2025 requirements.

Focus production is ending this month in the US as that plant is switching to Ranger, so if we don’t get the next-gen Focus (except the Outback version) we aren’t getting any Foci...

Focus Active wagon ST and I’d still be interested... though that vehicle has about -500% chance of ever existing unless I build it...

Originally the 1.0 was only offered with the 5MT but it did eventually get the choice of the auto as well.
