I’ve read your whole review and I still don’t understand why something like this even exists. Who actually uses this on a daily basis? It doesn’t seem like it’s a particularly good e-reader, and using e-ink to take notes seems like a solution in need of a problem.

I’m definitely intrigued by the idea, but I’m curious as to how easy it is to upgrade it. If it was as easy as it is to repair and upgrade my PC then I’m definitely in, but I doubt it. That said, I do own an Essential PH-1, so I’m not exactly on the beaten path of phones so I’m probably an outlier.
