Actually, almost any line in that Plain White Ts song is worse than anything Billy Joel has ever written.
Though now that I'm thinking about it, Capcom did a bang-up job on a number of Disney games. DuckTales and Chip & Dale (maybe the earliest sidescroller co-op) were great.
Mickey's Mousecapades was a disaster. I loved it.
The new III/VI graphics are a travesty.
The sweeping music when you enter the first cave…just pure magic.
My bet, though, is they go with the original DKC because it was iconic, unlike the first Mega Man. Mega Man 2 is not just better, but iconic. DKC 2 is better, but less known.
I remember reading that Nintendo of America bought the publishing rights to Gaia, and deliberately marketed the box to look like Zelda—so you fed right into it!
My god, that was a terrible movie. I am completely baffled by the love for it. It might be among the most aggressively unfunny things I have ever seen.
I can't remember if Little Nicky or Mr. Deeds came first, but I hated them both, and that did it.
