The finale is amazing, and retroactively elevates the season to the realm of "great." And it makes a rewatch all but mandatory.
No argument there. I'm not putting Good Place in the same league (though over the years I have come to prefer 30 Rock to AD, and the argument could be made that it is superior). Still, Good Place is terrific.
Not since Arrested Development has there been a comedy that so rewards rewatching. Like with Buster's hand, half of the jokes are only apparent the second time around.
