Yup, any gamer worth his salt looks for that in first paragraph, not some touchy feely narrative.

Yeah, they didn’t mention it because its a 1070 maxQ - meaning it will perform like the flat 1060 that was in the version 2 generations prior. Combined with the plastic hinges? hell no. The MaxQ and CPU will cook the plastic and you’ll end up with fractured hinges AND a cracked mobo in about 1.5 years of use.

Did I miss it somewhere in the article, or is the gpu never mentioned till the tech specs?

I think I understand the article fully.

If this is true I’m trying to imagine of why anyone would entrust the vehicle in that spot if there was multiple encounters with issues.

I haven’t been in high school for almost 20 years now but... are phones really just allowed in class? That seems anathema to the idea of focused group learning.

I hate to be a stickler here, but I gotta take issue with the characterization of baseball being a dead sport by Sisko’s time. A brother of Kasidy Yates (Sisko’s wife) played for a team on Cestus III, suggesting reports of its demise were premature. http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Kasidy_Yates-Sisko

But isn’t that hypocritical considering the tongue lashing Poe got about wasting resources when they were in short supply? Senior officers and capital ship captains and pilots have got to be a valuble resource in this world right?

Do not start digging here. Next you’ll be asking why they didn’t hyperspace asteroids into the Death Star and then the defenders of TLJ will start coming for you and you’ll then ask why you should care about this new Star Wars universe since there’s basically 40 people in it and and and... sigh.

Yeah, no way she could have thought ‘I’ll have a droid do this!’

Why hadn’t she thought up a plan that didn’t require someone to be on the bridge to watch the transports leaving to begin with?

I thought they were supposed to win by saving those they loved instead of dying for them or something like that.

Ok, but why did she need to stay on the ship? It was just flying in a staight line in empty space. Couldn’t they have just put a metaphorical brick on the accelerator and left?

“Respect is for the living.”

Totally objectively, I agree. Also, the film was shown to entire schools of kids is special screenings (Passion if the Christ did the same thing with religious crowds in churches) which pads the ticket sales significantly.

I still think it looks like Disney was working on a Hillary Clinton animatronic, but had to try to change it into Trump partway through.

But if Musk doesn’t feel like he needs Facebook anymore, others could easily follow suit.

In general I agree with you, but this crap passed 94-1 with five non-votes. The only nay vote is Rand freakin’ Paul. So this one is on everybody.

Tbf, Captain Phasma does a heck of a lot more in TFA/TLJ than Boba Fett in ESB/RotJ.

I want to love Star Trek Online so much. I played it when it first came out to whatever the maximum level was at the time (have they increased it?). Star ship combat was obviously a labor of love for who ever was making that part of the game. It feels exactly like what starship combat in DS9, Voyager, and the movies
