@xsbs: Wow, this is tremendously useful information, this explains why so many times I've refrained from buying BD editions of movies for fear of manipulation like the ones you mentioned. At least I know I'm not 100% crazy now :)

@xsbs: How little I knew then. Everything I had known up until now (and all the marketing hoopla) made me think that everything was always brought UP to 1080p.

Although buying just the prequels makes no sense (they are the worst of the series), in terms of hi-def they're the only ones worth the price. I'm still skeptical of the actual value of a movie when it wasn't filmed in HD ...if the source format wasn't that to begin with, bringing it to 1080p is just a marketing ploy…

The lesson I learned from this lawsuit is that since I'm Puerto Rican, I can sue Rockstar for mentioning my nationality and using characters with a similar Spanish accent in GTA IV.
