That's good to know, as I loved both DMC and GoW (at least the better entries in them). Maybe in another 8 months or so I'll track down a cheap used copy of Bloodborne.

Unfortunately I have absolutely no interest in Bloodborne or the Souls games. I'm not sure why, they just don't appeal to me at all. If there's a demo available I'll probably try it out, but I'm definitely leaning more towards games that don't involve as much of an investment (hence Rocket League, Battlefront, etc).

The "I've spent 100 hours and I've barely progressed with the plot and have mostly been fiddling with settlements and inventory" issue is what I'm afraid of, I had a similar problem with Skyrim as I spent a TON of time in it but never actually beat most of the major questlines. More Borderlands 2 for me this weekend. I'm at level 41, almost to the point where I can use the legendary class mod I found for my assassin and then I'll tear through Tiny Tina's DLC, feeling like a god the whole time, and then will put the game down for good.
