I still have a weird affinity for the idea of Matt Czuchry (Cary Agos from The Good Wife) playing him. He's got a good mix of charm and dickishness. Though I just checked and when they start filming in 2017 he'll be 40(!), he doesn't look it at all though…

I hadn't even considered Taylor Kitsch, and I hope the casting directors don't either. I actually do like him as an actor, just don't see him in the role.

Yes, he would. Which Friday Night Lights alum should play young Han? Scott Porter could be pretty good, though he may be a little old for what they're going for. Maybe Matt Lauria.

I prefer Krackel, they were always one of my favorite mini candy bars.

I got tickets to see Nick Offerman as Ignatius Riley in a stage version of Confederacy of Dunces. I've read the book but don't have any particular affinity for it, I'm just excited to see him on stage.

Those are two of the games I'm most excited about when I finally get a PS4. What'd you think of Syndicate? I played Black Flag last year and loved it, other than that I haven't played an AC game in a long time.

Finally made a level in Mario Maker! It's on the Gameological steam thread, but I'll put it here too: 69DB-0000-0106-94A8. It's nothing special, but I'm pretty happy with it for my first try. I've got what I think are pretty good ideas for two more levels so hopefully I'll have some time this weekend to get those

Upvoted for sympathy and for your actual in person support of Planned Parenthood (I keep telling myself I'm going to at least bring donuts to my local chapter sometime soon).

Along the same lines, fuck every republican presidential candidate who has stated that Climate Change isn't real and that Obama should be focusing on ISIS because that's a "real" threat instead of participating in the climate talks. They're both real threats, assholes, you can work on solving two problems at the same

I just wished they'd left it out of the Christmas card…

He hadn't seen a salutation that bulbous since his time in ElDan's basement…

What I'm really waiting for in a Star Wars movie is a planet that has more than one type of ecosystem.

That's one of the reasons I'm pretty jazzed about the new Star Wars movie, as Lindelof pointed out, they're not really putting much out there for information. Sure, they've had a million different teasers but they're not responding to rumors about Luke being evil or which new character is related to or a clone of

"Have you read about the eugenics wars that broke out in 1997? What are they teaching you in history class these days?!"

I'm especially angry with some of the responses to people questioning the fate of a few Game of Thrones characters, instead of insisting certain people are dead they could just say, "I know there are a lot of theories, you're going to have to wait until next season to find out". Simple.

Kirk and Spock should have played it like Djimon Hounsu's character in Guradians of the Galaxy. "…..who?"

I always thought keeping Kahn's presence a secret was weird because when he reveals himself to be Kahn the fans of the show had most likely already figured it out (or at least were aware of the rampant speculation) and the people who had never seen the show have no idea who the hell that is so it was an impactful

This reminds me of one of the best episodes of Batman: The Animated Series - The Cape and the Scowl Conspiracy.

I'll agree that Alan Tudyk was great and there were a lot of good ideas present, but yeah the generic action really weighed it down.

They were sponsors for Star Wars week and the article/comment format that shall not be named.
