My girlfriend is out of town for the week and the dog and cat always get a bit lonely when she's not around, so they're extra affectionate towards me. This morning I was watching the season finale of Another Period while eating breakfast and the dog curled up next to me on the couch, actually physically against me

I always though the Crimson Guard were super badass, mostly because they're barely seen in the movies and have a huge aura of mystery around them. Similar to Boba Fett before he was over explained in the prequels and various comics and books. I know the Crimson Guard had their own stories as well, but I never

I just googled it and found this 1995 one: http://www.rebelscum.com/PO…. That means I was 13 when I got it and was a much lamer middle-schooler than I realized.

It had to be early 90's or late 80's based on how old I was when I got the figure, unless I'm remembering it incorrectly.

My most prized Star Wars figure as a kid was one with Han wearing Stormtrooper armor that had a removable helmet. I though that was the coolest fucking thing. I'm pretty sure I had to send away some cereal box upcs to get it, which was a lot of work for my 7 year-old self.

Because of a dog or just being a generally shitty movie? My girlfriend actually really wanted to see that when it was in theaters, I'm hoping she's forgotten about it by now.

My dog will be 11 months old next week and I'm ridiculously obsessed with him, and as a result that joke got me a little emotional.

The Tell-Tale Snark

Right now his IMDB page only lists Creed and Fantastic Four 2 for upcoming titles. Here's hoping FF2 gets quietly cancelled and other, more promising roles spring up soon. Until then I'll just go re-watch his arc on Friday Night Lights…

I hope so.

But I don't follow @everyone on twitter - how will I know that's happening?

That "epic" style voiceover is a bit jarring. It should have been Lake Bell.

Notices about emergency situations will break on twitter first anyway, so it probably won't be a big deal.

There's actually a local group around here that plays a few baseball games by 1860's rules every summer. So….yes.

That baseball scene is ridiculous. They're not even wearing gloves!

What about the "Sexy Pinkerton" costume I'm designing?

I clicked on this article because I glanced at the headline and thought it was.

If my understanding is correct, the "Monty Hall Problem" is related to the basic theory behind Beysian Statistics. The resident stats expert in my office did a presentation on it once and it confused the shit out of me. I should give that podcast a listen.

Mine was pretty awesome, my cousin got married. We haven't had a family wedding in a few years and it was great to see people, including some of my favorite cousins who live in the midwest. And the bride rode up to the ceremony on a horse and looked like a goddman warrior princess, which is very befitting her

I have the sudden urge to re-read Alan Moore's Lost Girls.
