That would be fucking awesome.
That would be fucking awesome.
My biggest problem with it was that all I really wanted out of it was to see Wolverine tearing apart some Sentinels, which he didn't get to do because of those stupid fucking bone claws.
I lost my shit when Stallone built a sextant from some straws and a pair of glasses. It needed more ridiculous things like that.
Last time I tried to do that I got in a lot of trouble.
Oh god I forgot about that.
In other news, I just read that the Governor of my great state of Maine said today that if you use modern mining techniques you can operate a gold mine without any environmental impact. When asked for an example of a mine that does that successfully he said that every fracking mine in the country operates without…
Just because I make maps doesn't mean I know how to read them.
Was it her invisible jet?
Thanks! It's been a long 3 years - the whole program is online so I've been taking classes while working full time. I can't fucking wait to be done (now I just need to finish my project…).
I'm staying at the Hyatt Regency on E Upper Wacker. Looks like a pretty cool area, overlooking the river and near Millennium Park (I've never been to Chicago, I'm basing this on google maps). I'll try pretty much any type of food out there and I'm always up for something unique.
My girlfriend and I both got promotions this month! Mine was fairly minor, but she's moving from an hourly retail position to a salaried marketing job at the brewery she works at. Along with the increased income, we're really excited about her having Saturdays off for the first time in about 6 years.
Coming to Chicago Thread!
Oh man, this game. So beautiful and atmospheric and chilling and lovely. Reading through the comments here is making me remember all the amazing battles and the little unique bits of strategy you had to discover (without any real hints) to beat each one. I think my favorite was the flying one where you had to shoot…
I felt pretty much the same way, and I was genuinely interested in how the cliff-hanger ending would play out.
I watched Bullet in the Face when it first aired and it was SO weird. I had no idea what to expect going in and I didn't really know what I had seen after it was over, but I enjoyed its ridiculousness, it just felt like it came out of nowhere and then disappeared.
I forgot about that cookbook! I think I had just discovered the AC Club commenting community when you put it out and it mostly confused the hell out of me, but made me want to pay more attention to this place and see what it was all about. I don't know if I should thank you for that or not.
That is the best thing I've read all week.
Really? I'll have to check that out. I also really enjoyed his interview in the How Did This Get Made episode about Bad Ass. And, really, his life story is pretty amazing so you gotta love what he's accomplished and how he seems to be pretty down to earth and just having a lot of fun.
Want to have some fun? Look up Danny Trejo on netflix and see the massive amount of crazy low budget action movies he's starred in. I think there's at least 3 films in the Bad Ass series now, and a bunch of random ones that you've probably never heard of. I really want to get drunk and watch a few the next time…
Andy Samberg was in a british comedy? Huh. Has anyone on here seen the original?
