My childhood room is still there, but it functions as a guest room/craft room now. It does still have some of my old science fair ribbons on the closest door, multiple third a second place ribbons, but no first place. I'm not gonna lie, it still stings a bit every time I go home and see that.

She could suck it up and go anyway, like a real warrior.

Oh man, that whole conversation was so amazing. I remember there being one moment where her argument started to make sense, but then it all fell apart again. Don't people realize that monkeys are ANIMALS?

I'm pretty sure that's the first time I've ever watched a video of Nancy Grace. It will probably be the last.

That's definitely how I'd describe my puppy - he seems to pick up on verbal commands pretty quickly, but he's got that great lack of coordination that makes puppies hilarious to watch as they tumble around.

Puppy Thread!

That and the fact that they didn't use the "that's a load bearing t-rex" line.

In anticipation of the Assassin's Creed film franchise, I will be investing a lot of money in hay and hay carts. By the 5th movie I should be a millionaire.

I've played Peggle and Peggle nights as well. I do think they're better games overall, but I've completed every challenge and cleared every peg from every level so I'm ready for something new. I like the level design in Peggle 2 and the new animations for the masters, though the special powers haven't wowed me -

WOLF of Wall Street EYES!

Addendum - I just remembered that I got a $25 amazon gift certificate for Christmas, I just checked and Stick of Truth for Xbox is only 20 bucks for a new copy, so I ordered it :-).

I'm so far behind in my gaming. I've picked up a few things on the Steam winter sale that I've been meaning to play (Dishonored, Hotline Miami) and I've got my eyes on Valiant Hearts, Transistor, and a few others. This year I spent most of my time on Grand Theft Auto V, Assassin's Creed Black Flag, and Far Cry 3. I

I saw Family Man in the theater on the most awkward pseudo double-date ever. I worked in a movie theater and one of friends/coworkers and I each new a girl that we thought the other would hit it off with, so we planned a double-date. The first problem was that he didn't tell the girl he was setting me up with that

I love Aaron Paul, but I really don't see him being a good choice for Han Solo. I actually think that Matt Czurchy - Cary Agos from The Good Wife - would be a great choice and is enough of an unknown to not be too distracting in the part.

I want to dig into Shovel Knight over the holidays (pun obviously intended), but I think I should get a controller for my PC, it seems like the type of game that would work better with a gamepad than a keyboard. Any recommendations? I don't love the d-pad on my Xbox 360 controller so there's gotta be a better option.

There was a pretty excellent New Yorker piece about Kyle a while ago. I like that it paints a very whole picture of him, both in his accomplishments and shortcomings, and doesn't seem to pass too much judgement about many of the things he may or may not have done once he returned home from the war: http://www.newyork

According to the seal, Pawnee was established in 1817, which means the final season will take place during their bicentennial. I wonder if there will be a big festival to commemorate it.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but it sounds like he's playing a slightly more refined version of his character in Party Down.

I was up for 27-hours straight, worked in the morning, went to my college classes, then worked overnight. The next morning I was driving home on the highway and I nodded off for probably only 1 or 2 seconds, but I hadn't realized my lane was ending due to construction. The cones were coming up and there was a big
