LOL I definitely appreciate that the life of the nanny and their family doesn’t even factor into the equation. Everyone should be sheltering in place. The CA order specifically states that childcare providers that do not live in with the family they work for should NOT be going to work during this time.

Yeah the dehydration technique really only works for one-off performances - photoshoots, figure competitions, etc. Can’t really film a movie while super dehydrated the whole time. I can see how having to grind day in and day out to keep yourself at a low bf% would wear on you.

I am fully convinced all male stars that “get buff” for movies in record amounts of time are on steroids. It just makes it so much easier.

This is horribly irresponsible during a Shelter In Place order.

Someone upthread commented about how the anxieties and complaints shared in this article are equivalent to “Karens complaining about non-GMO hemp water”...

Then move along? As a reader I don’t find the topic of how little you care about the content of an article to be important -- at all -- right now.

The care is elective. Nobody HAS to have a baby.

IVF during normal times is, quite frankly, a luxury only extremely well-off individuals have access to. IVF during a pandemic should not be prioritized over savings lives. This is time of great sacrifice for everyone.

That sounds downright nightmarish.

“ So are the hoarders actually unethical doctors buying it up for friends and family?”

I’m honestly not surprised these folks can’t seem to see past their own asses. This is the same reason they don’t get flu shots - “oh the flu isn’t that scary, I’m not at risk to die from it”

The worst part about Dean’s hometown was that he was dumped right after. It seems like the producers wanted Rachel to keep him on for ~the drama~ of his weird family situation but she never saw a future with him. Kind of fucked!

Go fart somewhere else.

This article was super illuminating at the generational divide in terms of cost expectations. My sister got married just over 20 years ago (she is 20 years older than me) and I was shocked to hear her whole wedding was $10k. She had a full ceremony and reception at a local venue, beer & wine, 3 course meal, cake, a

It honestly just costs a lot of money to feed and entertain a number of people. Like, if I threw an event with a 3 course meal and open bar for 100 people that wasn’t a wedding it would be similarly costly (and I’ve done that in the past for various jobs).

It definitely is, but you just kind of get used to it. We are “overdue” for “the big one” but we get little baby earthquakes every year or so. I’m honestly more concerned about wildfires. While most buildings are set up to withstand a certain level of techtonic activity, wildfires wipe out everything in their path and

Yep! I live on a fault line so I have an earthquake emergency kit. Mostly just non-perishable food & water, plus some solar or hand crank powered devices/chargers. My biggest concerns are being without power & water for days, and not being able to leave my apartment due to unstable roads (assuming it’s still

Beyond being psychopathic & sadistic- it’s just fucking stupid. People working around injuries are HIGHLY prone to injuring other parts of their body due to overcompensating. Also, back injuries should never be fucked with. That’s how people end up losing their ability to walk, or on opioids for the rest of their

Joe Lieberman is the reason there is no public option for the ACA.
